1. How do I set up an account?
After deciding on your account, you may:

Proceed to the on-line sign up form. (Fastest response)

Postal mail, e-mail, or fax us your: address, phone, fax numbers, e-mail address, and company or organization name. Be sure to specify which account you are applying for and the service length. To expedite your order we recommend including a credit card number and expiration date.

You'll want to either register a new domain, or modify your existing domain to our name servers. For registrations, check out our Domain Registration section (bottom of home page) to register a domain for $20.00 per year with us.

Whichever solution you choose, you'll want to use our name servers. Please contact us via our ticket system for name server information.

2. Do you have a money back guarantee?
Yes we do offer a full 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not 100% satisfied with your account we will refund your money. Setting up a JTL Networks account is risk free!

*Note: The 30 day money back guarantee does NOT apply to Dedicated Servers or VPS Accounts.

3. Do you have a reseller program?
Yes we do. We have a great program that will allow you to purchase additional accounts with a 25% - 50% discount! If you want detailed information go to the Resellers or Affiliates section.

4. Can I resell space within my account?
Yes! Aside from offering a resellers program that lets you resell full virtual accounts, you can also setup secure ftp accounts that will allow you to resell access to customers from yoursite.com/theirdir/.

5. Do you have a referrals program?
Yes, please review our Affiliates program information for details.

6. How can I pay for my account?
We accept Check or Money Orders as well as VISA, Master Card, American Express, and Discover cards. We will also accept direct bank deposits. Contact us via our ticket system for details on this payment method.

7. Is there a discount for prepayment?
Yes. Quarterly payments , biannual, and annual are not subject to setup fees.

8. Do you accept International customers and domain extensions?
We are more than happy to host International domains. Currently we have customers in over 100 countries in all continents except Antarctica. Non InterNIC domains (.com, .net, .org) must be registered by the customer.

9. Do you provide phone contact?
Yes. You can contact us toll free at 1.877.765.2300. Outside of the US you must dial 1.614.453.1020.

10. Does it cost extra to move my domain from another provider to your service?
The InterNIC does not charge a fee to transfer domain names. We will submit a domains modification request to the InterNIC free of charge on your behalf so it should cost nothing extra to move your domain. Be sure that you select the "transfer my domain name" option within the setup form.

11. Will my site have any downtime if I move it from another provider?
As soon as we setup your account you will be able to access it via a temporarily address. With this access you can upload your files to your new account. This means that your site will be up even before the domain switch is made so there will be no downtime.

12. What can I use my account for?
You may host any content that is legal in all 50 US states as well as your place of residence within your account. You may use your account to send / receive e-mail and transfer files via anonymous FTP. The following is a list of content / usage NOT allowed:

Hosting any copyrighted content that you do not have express written permission to use. This usually means ALL MP3 MUSIC FILES as well as COMMERCIAL SOFTWARE PROGRAMS.

Sending UCE or SPAM with your account. Your account will be subject to termination after receiving even one complaint about an unsolicited e-mail making any reference to your site or being sent through our mail servers.
C
Violating any of our Terms and Policies.

13. What is an abusive practice?
Anything that is forbidden in the above sections. If you know of a JTL Networks account that is guilty of such a practice please report them to via our ticket system.

14. What e-commerce solutions do you have available?
JTL Networks offers a variety of e-commerce solutions. From the most advanced e-commerce products available to solutions that are included free as a basic service.

15. How do I request features or add-ons?
We provide all customers with a personalized control panel, also known as our Web Panel, to set up e-mail items, ftp account, and more. You should have received the location of your Web Panel when you signed up. If not, submit your request via our ticket system and make sure to tell them your domain name and what server you are being hosted on.

17. What free tech support do I get?
We have a great tech support section online that should help with most problems. Support is provided free for problems with logging into accounts, and configuration issues. We have an average turn-around time of 1 hour per support request ticket. Please not that support ticket responses may very in time dependent upon the load of our technical staff.

We provide numerous system CGI programs for all UNIX accounts via our Online Control Panel SiteDSM.

22. How Do I Know If The Domain Name I Want Is Available?
Use the domain name lookup form located here (at bottom of page) to see if your domain name is available. This form will only check for ".com," "Net," ".org," and ".edu" domains. All other domain extensions must be checked using the lookup or WhoIs of that domain provider.

23. Why should I consider your non-unlimited bandwidth account when I can get unlimited bandwidth elsewhere?
If you own a site that uses 10GB of bandwidth a month or more you already know the answer to this question. There is no such thing as "unlimited bandwidth." Many providers offer this because 99% of all their customers never get anywhere close to 10GB of bandwidth per month. If they do, they are politely asked to leave, or bandwidth shaping is implemented whereby a site has its bandwidth limited, making it very slow to its visitors.

Accounts and all other requests are setup within 24 hours of order validation.

JTL Networks has been operating as a privately held corporation since 1997. We originally offered Internet services as early as 1996.

26. How can the prices be so low? Are we at risk of seeing our monthly price increase sometime in the future?
Most of our competitors are either publicly held corporations or answer to groups of investors who demand huge profits achievable only by overcharging for basic services. JTL Networks Tech has always run as a private corporation funded by only specific investors who do not pressure us to turn an enormous profit. Our goal is to provide an amazing mix of features and services at affordable prices allowing anyone to take advantage of technology usually reserved for the elite.
